Will Ospreay gave it his all at Wrestle Kingdom 14, but he didn’t succeed in winning his match against Hiromu Takahashi. He also experienced an unfortunate injury in the process.

There were reports following NJPW’s biggest event of the year that Ospreay broke his heel. The Aerial Assassin has now confirmed this injury to Wrestling Inc.

Despite having a broken heel, Ospreay still worked the Melbourne Championship Wrestling event last night. He defeated Dowie James at the show and gave him a ton of credit for being a tough opponent.

Hopefully, Will Ospreay can get some rest and heel up his injury. He just couldn’t keep from working the MCW event in front of those passionate fans.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
