Top Star Reportedly Injured At NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 14

The first night of New Japan Pro Wrestling’s 14th Wrestle Kingdom event aired last night. During the night, Will Ospreay lost a match against Hiromu Takahashi where the IWGP Jr Heavyweight Championship was on the line. He could have lost more than that.

PW Insider reports that the Aerial Assassin sustained an injury last night in his Wrestle Kingdom loss. It is reportedly an ankle injury or even a broken heel.

A lot of fans were wondering how he was doing after he tweeted out a photo of himself along with the caption, “Sad pig.”

Ospreay put his body through a lot of damage last night. Hopefully, this won’t keep him out of the ring for long.
