Brock Lesnar will wrestle again at the Royal Rumble. The issue is that we have no idea who he’s facing yet.

We previously covered the entire situation regarding the top tier of Raw as they go into the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on January 26th. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that there is no guarantee that Brock Lesnar will actually be defending his title even if he performs.

Brock Lesnar’s next match will be on the show. We haven’t been told outright it is a WWE title match, but the other option is the Rumble and WWE hasn’t put the champ in the Rumble in years, plus it makes no sense with the Rumble being for the Mania title shot.

It might not make any sense for Brock Lesnar to be in the Royal Rumble match. That doesn’t mean it won’t happen. Only time will tell what WWE does to kick off the next decade. They definitely wrapped up the last one in an interesting way.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
