Two WWE NXT Debuts Set For Christmas Day Episode

WWE might be giving their NXT Superstars a break for the Holidays, but NXT will still air an original episode on the USA Network for the next two weeks.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that they have already taped a couple of matches that will air on television. Some are slated to be recorded this week.

Bianca Belair faced Shotzi Blackheart during a taped match on Wednesday this week. That match is set to air on Christmas Day. This will mark Shotzi Blackheart’s NXT television debut.

Austin Theory is getting a NXT North American Title opportunity in his NXT television debut. He took on Roderick Strong before the NXT taping this week and they recorded that match for Christmas.

Matches planned for the Christmas Day episode of WWE NXT are:

Roderick Strong vs Austin Theory (taped on 12/18)

Lio Rush & Keith Lee vs Tony Nese & Damian Priest (set to tape on 12/20)

Candice LeRae vs Taynara (taped on 12/18)

Bianca Belair vs Shotzi Blackheart (taped on 12/18)
