Marty Scurll’s ROH contract ran up on November 30th. He worked the Final Battle pay-per-view for ROH last night. The next night he showed up on another pay-per-view for the NWA.

Scurll appeared during the NWA Into The Fire pay-per-view. He is now a free agent and he appeared to make a big challenge in the NWA.

Following Nick Aldis’ successful NWA World Heavyweight Title defense against James Storm, The Villain appeared to seemingly challenge Nick Aldis for his title. He had a stare-down with Nick Aldis to conclude the show. It appears that Marty Scurll is with the NWA.

It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Scurll agreed to do a secret appearance. This very well could have been what Dave Meltzer was referring to.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
