We are saddened to learn of he passing of Moondog Rex. He was part of so many memories and was 69 years old. No cause of death has been announced.
Randy Colley was involved in many angles including as the original Smash before he was replaced by Barry Darsow in the role. He was later part of The Desperados with Dutch Mantell and Black Bart. He won many titles and entertained thousands in the process.
Memphis Wrestling broke the news as they posted on Twitter:
“Randy Colley, Moondog Rex, as well as the original Demolition Smash has passed away. Thank you for the matches & the memories, sir.. Rest in peace, Randy.”
Our thoughts are with all of Colley’s friends, fans, and family during this sad time.
