The Young Bucks and Proud n Powerful tore each other apart in a street fight last night on AEW Dynamite. They fought all over the building, but they did it with a sick man in the match.

Nick Jackson was very sick before AEW Dynamite. He apparently had several people telling him not to do the match, but obviously he didn’t listen.

Dave Meltzer commented on this during Wrestling Observer Radio. He said that Jackson was on the floor backstage. He sounded miserable, but that didn’t keep Nick Jackson out of that big match.

“Nick Jackson said that this was the hardest match he was ever in because he was sick. I had it described by several different people to me including him. I think he was on the ground, he had the shakes, everyone was telling him not to do it. He refused to not do it. He absolutely said he was gonna do the match. I think Santana’s back was jacked. They went in there — it was tough. I didn’t know about it until the match was over how sick he was, I wouldn’t have noticed.”

The Young Bucks and Santana & Ortiz are professionals and they certainly proved that last night by the way they worked that match. Now we have The Young Bucks vs SCU for the AEW World Tag Team Titles next week.
