AEW Likely Snagging Top WWE Prospect

AEW is looking to provide an alternative to pro wrestling fans and it appears that they are signing someone that WWE had their eye on.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that it appears Kris Statlander will be signing with AEW. This comes after she was “very close to a deal” with WWE. Obviously, she had other plans.

Regarding Kris Statlander, it looks like she’ll be signing here. She and WWE were close to a deal but they had not sent a contract and then AEW booked her. WWE was under the impression she was coming in January and both sides want her.

AEW having her appear on their show for the past couple of weeks certainly seems to indicate interest. She has a unique charisma and is also the kind of worker that they really need to fill out their women’s division.
