All Elite Wrestling has a lot of plans for the future, but WWE might not want them doing everything they have lined up. After All Elite Wrestling announced that Bash At The Beach is coming in 2020, Cody Rhodes sent out very interesting tweet about going to court.

Fightful Select reports that some people in WWE are actually talking about taking AEW to court over this. They want to stop Bash At The Beach from happening and really want to shut down the special episode Dynamite before the Chris Jericho Cruise.

Some within WWE weren’t happy with AEW promoting a Bash at the Beach, and there’s talk that they may attempt to take action to stop it.

Cody Rhodes owns the name Bash At The Beach. He also owns lot of other useful properties and AEW could bring back even more nostalgic names.

WWE owns the rights to “The Bash” and they are arguing that AEW’s event could be confused with their property. Then again, Vince McMahon hasn’t held a Bash event (or Great American Bash) since the event was replaced in 2010 by Fatal 4-Way and WWE Money in the Bank.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
