Kenny Omega was one of the greatest wrestlers on the planet as a part of New Japan Pro Wrestling. Now he is an Executive Vice President and performer for All Elite Wrestling. This was a transition that is still on-going.

While speaking to Wrestling Observer Radio, Kenny Omega discussed his role in AEW. He is not only a performer, but he is producing segments as an Executive Vice President. That sometimes leaves little time to prepare for his own matches.

“I suppose with AEW going week to week with television it’s, the lesson that you have to learn and the lesson that I’m learning week by week is, or trying to anyway, is time management. I’m producing everywhere from four to five segments every episode on television and I always prioritize my own stuff last so it’s always going to get down to the 11th hour.”

Kenny Omega has a lot on his plate. He will likely manage his time much better as things go along and he can develop some sort of process. In the meantime, he seems to be pulling it off so far.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
