CM Punk is very good at stirring up controversy. It is remarkable what he did after tweeting out that “no one is safe” with his WWE Backstage appearance. He tagged Tony Khan in that tweet and the rest was all up to Twitter doing its thing.

Tony Khan replied to Punk and then Randy Orton retaliated by bringing up an old corruption allegation about Khan’s father. Tony let RKO have it and then Brandi Rhodes replied saying it was a knock out punch.

Charlotte Flair replied back saying: “Please” along with an emoji of rolling eyes. This did not go unanswered from Rhodes.

Brandi Rhodes replied back with a single emoji of a clown face. We’re not certain if she was calling The Queen a clown or whether she was just indicating that she was having fun. Either way, this rivalry between WWE and AEW took a direction nobody expected.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
