CM Punk is going to be on WWE Backstage this week and he put out a very interesting tweet today to hype tomorrow’s appearance. He tagged Tony Khan while saying that no one is safe. This provoked a response from Tony Khan.

The AEW President responded to CM Punk while making a reference to WWE Superstars being stuck in Saudi Arabia. Apparently, that’s how Tony read the line “no one is safe.”

No one is safe? Sounds like a plane full of wrestlers in Saudi Arabia!

This was a very interesting reply from Tony Khan. We’ll be waiting patiently to see if CM Punk responds online or if he waits until WWE Backstage tomorrow night on FS1.

Update: Randy Orton came to WWE’s defense. This was followed by Tony Khan lashing back at The Viper.
