Jon Moxley left WWE and he told Vince McMahon that he was working on a movie so he couldn’t make it to an overseas tour at the last minute. As it turns out, the “movie” that Mox was working on was that teaser showing him breaking out of WWE’s metaphorical prison. Now he is finally filming “Cagefighter.”

Mox is set to star in an upcoming film called “Cagefighter” and they started shooting this weekend. As you can see from the image below, the first scene they shot was pretty intense.

“Cagefighter” will tell the story of Mox’s character looking to reclaim glory in the cage. It looks like this role is right in his wheelhouse too. The blood might be fake in this shot, but he’s also no stranger to being covered by his own actual blood.

At this time there is no definite release date for “Cagefighter,” but it is slated for a 2020 debut.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
