Luchasaurus experienced a terribly timed injury on the morning before he was set to make his national television debut on AEW Dynamite. Now he is recuperating, but he is staying in good spirits.

During Starrcast IV, Luchasaurus told Taz that he’s working on his recovery. He sees a doctor every week and he is fortunate that this injury didn’t affect his tendon. Hopefully, he will be back in the ring by January at the latest.

“I’ve been doing as much rehab as I possibly can on this. Luckily it wasn’t a tendon injury. So, muscle injuries can heal anywhere from like one to three months. The doctors are looking at me every week and when I’m finally cleared — I told them I need to see a paleontologist for one, that’s the first hold up on this whole thing.”

“I’m hoping at the latest I return in January, at the beginning of January, but that would be the latest. Like, I’m hoping to be back earlier than that, but we’ll see.”

Jungle Boy said that he’s not glad that injury happened, but it does open them up for a big “second debut” when Luchasaurus is able to wrestle. They have a lot of time left to show the world what they can do and it looks like The Jurassic Express’ time in AEW is just starting.
