WWE’s Crown Jewel event was rather controversial, and then things got even more complicated after the event was over.

Superstars were stranded in Saudi Arabia and a lot of them are pretty upset at Vince McMahon right now. Some might also leave WWE because of this situation.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that only Kevin Owens and Daniel Bryan refused to go to Saudi Arabia this time around. They had their own reasons why they didn’t want to perform in Saudi Arabia.

Sami Zayn did not go, but he wasn’t invited. He was told to stay hold from every previous Saudi Arabian event (when he wasn’t injured). He is of Syrian descent and the Saudis don’t get along with people from Syria. Aleister Black wasn’t invited either because there was an issue with his tattoos last time and obviously, he still has that ink.
