Seth Rollins Says He’s Not Going To Kenny Omega ‘Any Time Soon’

Seth Rollins made a comment about facing Kenny Omega that made headlines. He said that Omega is welcome to face him at WrestleMania if he’s willing to come out of the minor leagues.

Jim Ross commented on this notable quote from Rollins. During the first episode of WWE After The Bell, Seth Rollins spoke about this as well. He was quite open about Omega being great, but he has yet to prove himself in WWE. Rollins closed his statement by saying that he’s not going to Omega “any time soon,” so The Cleaner will have to come to him.

“Look — Kenny’s great. Kenny’s never proven himself in WWE. So that’s what I was saying. It is what it is. WWE is the top of the mountain. I’m the guy sitting on the top of the top of the mountain. So if Kenny wants to come and like I said ‘play in the major leagues and get out of the minor leagues’ or whatever.”

“The bottom line is I’d love for Kenny to come to me, because I’m not going to him any time soon.”

You can never say never in the world of pro wrestling. Kenny Omega might have his chance to wrestle Seth Rollins someday, or he could be wrestling Tyler Black. Either way, this is still a dream match separated by company lines and it will likely remain that way for at least a few more years.
