WWE brought their second week of Friday Night SmackDown to FOX and the ratings are in. They also show a steep decline in viewership.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown brought in 2.925 million viewers for the first hour and 2.872 million for the second. That is down dramatically from last week’s high rating.

Last week, WWE pulled in 3.9 million viewers in the first hour of Friday Night SmackDown with the second dropping slightly to 3.8 million.

The Rock’s segment alone last week brought over 4 million viewers. The Great One was not advertised this week, so they lost a million viewers. This week also didn’t have the hype that the FOX debut received.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
