Last night’s episode of NXT certainly lived up to the hype, with many fans believing that they put on, bell to bell, a better show than All Elite Wrestling’s debut episode on TNT.

That’s certainly up for debate but it all depends on what kind of perspective you have on both styles. Either way, it’s worth noting that one of the highlights of NXT’s episode last night was Shayna Bazler’s NXT Women’s Championship match against Candice LeRae.

The two women put on a real show, and while many felt as if LeRae would be the one to end the title run of Baszler, it simply wasn’t to be. Alas, it seems as if the loss may not have been meaningless for the former independent star.

The card for Hell in a Cell is already looking pretty light to say the least with just three main card matches having been announced. While all three are exceptionally intriguing, it still feels as if we need one or two more matches to pad things out a bit.

We’ll almost certainly get a few more booked on SmackDown, and one idea that was proposed by Bayley is for her to defend her SD Women’s Championship against the aforementioned Candice LeRae.

Some may suggest that she doesn’t exactly ‘deserve’ a shot at a main roster title given that she’s spent most of her time in NXT, but nobody would begrudge this kind of match happening.

If anything, it just needs a bit more build to it.
