WWE RAW next week will be the big season premiere and the company has stacked a big show. Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair will even be there for an episode of Miz TV, but is there a bigger plan for those two legends?

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained that bringing Hogan and Flair back for next week’s RAW is just being done to get them on television. They are big draws so it’s not about furthering any angle at this time.

“The whole thing with those guys is not to shoot an angle with them. I think people want to see them like you know, one promo — and with Ric they’re so afraid of what he’s gonna do they probably won’t let him do a promo anyway.”

Next week’s episode of RAW will also be the go-home show before Hell In A Cell. It is logical to assume that WWE will book another match or two for the pay-per-view, but it’s not likely to have anything to do with Hulk Hogan or Ric Flair.
