WWE Raw this week will include a big fatal five-way match to determine a #1 contender for Seth Rollins’ title just days before he is set to defend his championship against The Fiend at Hell In A Cell.

Some people were wondering why WWE made the specific decisions that they did with the participants in that match. After all, the match does include three current champion including Robert Roode.

“Paul Heyman likes Robert Roode, so there you go,” Dave Meltzer stated on Wrestling Observer Radio.

This should explain why Roode is in the big fatal five-way match. It’s no guarantee that the Raw Tag Team Champion will win the match, but he was definitely placed there for a reason.

Of course, Raw is always subject to change and we still have several hours before the show starts as of this writing. This means that they can pull any type of re-write in the meantime that they wish.
