AEW is set to start airing on TNT in just a few days at this point, but some fans are expecting a big surprise. CM Punk’s name keeps coming up around every corner no matter how busy The Second City Savior’s schedule already is.

While speaking to Talk Sport, Nick Jackson answered a question about CM Punk coming to AEW. Any time a wrestler is unhappy with their current company All Elite Wrestling always comes up. Their roster is full, but you can never say never, because there’s always going to be room for a big name if their interested.

Yeah, that’s definitely true [everyone gets linked]. It’s hard to say because like you said, everyone is linked [to us]. If there is anyone that’s unhappy anywhere else it’s like ‘oh, well they’re going to AEW’ [laughs]. The reality is we already have a full roster, completely. And we’re only going to have one show a week. The roster we have now is what we want and what we wanted. For us to utilize each talent as much as we can, I feel like we have enough people. Never say never though for someone who is a huge superstar. I guess you can make room for a big, big name. For now though, I feel like we have a complete roster.

We’ll have to see if a “big, big name” might end up appearing in AEW sooner or later. There are a couple surprises possible for All Elite Wrestling, but at this point they already have a roster more than ready to surprise everyone with what they can bring to the ring.
