WWE is bringing as many people back for their big debut on Fox that they can get. This includes calling a few WWE Hall Of Famers.

Trish Stratus was last seen at Summerslam and she had a great showing against Charlotte Flair. Stratus said that was her last match which was an appropriate setting to make that happen.

Fans might still want a match with Stratus and Alexa Bliss, and so do they. That is another story completely.

It looks like Stratus might have a chance to get working on that possible match, because she has confirmed that she will be in Los Angeles’ Staples Center for SmackDown’s big Friday night debut on Fox.

Excited to be a part of #Smackdown to help usher in a new era on @FOXTV!

Let’s see how WWE uses Trish Stratus during this appearance. WWE wants to make headlines with their Fox debut and Trish Stratus is still someone that the WWE Universe obviously loves having on television.

She is also someone that lapsed fans might remember from the past to encourage them to give WWE another chance.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
