WWE Network has been $9.99 a month since its launch, but that could be changing for quite a few fans soon enough.

Plans were unveiled this week for the long-rumored WWE Network tier system. This includes a free tier, a standard tier, and one loaded with extras on a premium level.

PW Insider reports that word going around is that the new WWE Network will launch in January 2020. At this point, WWE is still trying to arrange things.

The company is reportedly reaching out to indie wrestling companies and seeing whether they would be interested in airing their content on the WWE Network.

It was further noted:

“I would expect EVOLVE, ICW, PROGRESS and potentially CHIKARA to come on board. We’ve heard the company has gone as far as to reach out to lucha promotions in Mexico.”

It will be very interesting to see who WWE will bring onto the WWE Network at this point. They could certainly provide an amazing platform that would benefit a lot of the companies that they are currently friendly with.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
