Huge AEW Chants Break Out In Madison Square Garden After WWE SmackDown

WWE fans have a mind of their own and the company can’t control what they chant, especially in Madison Square Garden.

Kevin Owens was fired from SmackDown Live after Shane McMahon was unable to win his match against Chad Gable. Kurt Angle might have been proud of Gable using his finisher, but McMahon wasn’t happy at all.

Shane McMahon promptly fired Kevin Owens on the spot. The show cut off with Owens digesting the fact that he was fired, but the crowd had something to say after the show went off the air.

Reports from withing MSG are coming out that fans filled The World’s Most Famous Arena with loud “AEW” chants when the show was over. Obviously, they were telling Kevin Owens where he should go next.

Of course, the firing was kayfabe so it’s not real. Kevin Owens might be venturing off of the blue brand next though. He did tweet out huge tease that he could be headed to NXT soon enough.
