WWE’s Clash Of Champions is going down on September 15th and usually every title in the company is defended during one of those events. This year might not be any different.

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles might be getting another shot at becoming a legitimate set of titles in WWE. The IIconics did their jobs well, but some fans definitely noticed a lack of focus on the belts.

Now it appears that Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss will be defending their titles against Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville at Clash Of Champions. It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that this match is “most likely.” After all, Fire & Desire did score a pinfall over the champions this week on SmackDown.

You can never rule out the possibility of WWE booking something with multiple teams that we don’t see coming. It seems that we should be expecting to see the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles defended on the Clash Of Champions show for sure.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
