Backstage News On Pac’s Future With AEW

Jon Moxley is unable to work at All Out next Saturday, but it didn’t take the company long to figure out replacement.

F4WOnline reports that Kenny Omega vs Pac was “a planned direction months ago,” but they obviously didn’t carry on with those plans. At the time, Pac was Dragon Gate’s Open The Dream Gate Champion and he was not permitted to lose. That is why AEW couldn’t work with Pac until now.

At this time, there are no further discussions about future matches for Pac. You can’t count out the chance that they could work something else out in the meantime.

It appears that AEW is simply going back to a planned match that they had already. This works out, but it is still unfortunate that Jon Moxley has to miss the August 31st event.
