WWE is going through a lot of changes right in front of our eyes. As fans, all we can do is watch and see what Vince McMahon comes up with next.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was asked about WWE going back to a “hard split” in regards to the brand extension once the company’s new television deals come into play.

We previously reportedly that WWE is planning to nix the Wild Card Rule starting in October.

At this point, it appears WWE will be going back to definite brands, but you never know what Vince McMahon will really decide to do.

“I was told hard split after the first week [of October] because the first SmackDown show everyone will be on and then after that its supposed to be a hard split. Look, everything changes based on Vince’s whims.”

Meltzer noted that it’s funny when people ask him so many things about what is to come “and the reality of this is that these decisions haven’t been made.” Vince McMahon still runs WWE and he will decide on things when the time is right.

WWE going back to a hard split might change a few things in WWE. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens with the WWE 24/7 Title because that title has consistently appeared on both shows as well. Vince McMahon will make the final decision when everything is said and done, but until that happens all we can do is wait for him to come up with something.
