The Rock’s Current Status For WWE SmackDown Fox Debut

SmackDown Live announced their big Fox debut recently and plenty of top names and legends will be in attendance. However, The Rock wasn’t one of the names announced.

WWE obviously wants The Rock to show up for their October 4th debut on Fox, but according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter he hasn’t committed to showing up just yet.

It is noted that WWE has reached out to The Great One, but nothing has been confirmed yet. One big thing that WWE does have working in their favor is the location. Since the Fox debut episode of SmackDown will be in Los Angeles that could make it much easier for him to show up.

We will have to wait and see if The Rock will be able to attend the event. However, the show is already loaded with legends so his return might be better suited for an occasion where he is the only draw. After all, just his name alone should be enough to pop a big rating.
