Edge returned to the ring and he hit a spear on Elias during the Summerslam kickoff show. This might have just been a one-off appearance, but fans are obviously hoping for more.

At this point, Edge’s return video has blown all other Summerslam moments away in terms of YouTube views. Edge’s kickoff show spot (a moment already available on YouTube for free) has 1.7 million views as of this writing not 12 hours later.

To compare, Seth Rollins winning the Universal Title has 1.3 million views and Bray Wyatt’s sick new entrance has 757k views. There really is not much of an argument that Edge is incredibly over in 2019.
