Eric Bischoff is the new Executive Director of SmackDown Live, but it can’t all happen overnight.

He hasn’t been keeping up with the current product much which could present an issue. However, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE has put Bruce Prichard in the role of getting Bischoff adjusted.

It was reported that Prichard is helping Bischoff out right now on the SmackDown brand. At this point, Bischoff doesn’t have “much to do” with creative as he is still learning the ropes.

Eric Bischoff and Bruce Prichard are working together on the show, but Bischoff at this point doesn’t have much to do with any creative ideas as he’s just learning who is what and the system.

Both Prichard and Bischoff share a common thread in the fact that they both have podcasts co-hosted by Conrad Thompson. They are still doing those podcasts as well despite their current roles in WWE.

Eric Bischoff’s transition into power might be a work in progress, but it’s good to know that WWE is letting him ease into this new Executive Director role.
