Roman Reigns had a very eventful 2018, but redemption came in a big way as he returned to WWE and announced his leukemia was in remission. Now that he’s back, the biggest question is for how long.

We previously reported that Roman Reigns still isn’t wrestling as full-time Superstar. He is still being protected and not wrestling very many singles matches when it’s not a special occasion.

When he recently spoke to TMZ Sports, The Big Dog revealed that he might only have another five years left in WWE anyway.

“I’m still in love with the ring. I’m still holding it down for RAW and SmackDown […] it’s great having other opportunities, but I still love having my physical thing in the ring.”

“I just gotta go by my health and how I feel, you know I’m still a young man — I’m 34 — I still have a few more years in me of being in the prime of my athletic career. If I can hold it in the ring, I’m willing to do it.”

“I can hold this schedule for at least 5 more years of being full-time, but eventually it’s gonna you know be time to rest my body.”

We are very glad to have Roman Reigns back with WWE even if he’s not working the road full-time. He will transition into his previous schedule and he is also still a locker room leader. However, nothing lasts forever and he’s already been bitten by the acting bug.

After all, this interview took place with TMZ because he’s plugging the Hobbs & Shaw film that is out everywhere this Friday.
