WWE has a system backstage and it all revolves around Vince McMahon’s approval, but there are a select number of Superstars who are actually allowed to suggest their own ideas directly to the writers.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that Shane McMahon, Kevin Owens, and Daniel Bryan “pitch most of their stuff to the writers.” Therefore, segments involving them “often some from those three.” This is very interesting because it was also stated that “they are the only ones the writers seem to listen to.”

It was also noted that you can tell that Kevin Owens and Daniel Bryan get this special attention since their promos on the show are the only ones who are different from other Superstars.

It might be nice if WWE’s writers took the time to talk to every WWE Superstar so they could properly capture their voices with segments involving them. At least it seems like WWE is giving Owens, Shane, and Bryan that special attention on the SmackDown brand and it really shows in the quality of their stories.
