Brock Lesnar’s Universal Title Win Causes Big Jump In WWE Ticket Prices

WWE ended their Extreme Rules pay-per-view with Brock Lesnar raising the WWE Universal Title in the air. This started his third reign as champion, but now WWE has a part-time champion once again.

IWC member Tommy On The Spot made a very smart move. He had a feeling that Brock Lesnar was going to become WWE Universal Champion tonight at Extreme Rules so he picked up tickets for $30 from a secondary ticket seller. Then as soon as Brock Lesnar won the title he looked again and wouldn’t you know those tickets are now $73.

I picked up tickets for tomorrow’s #Raw for like 30 bucks each about 2 hours ago bc I knew if Brock Lesnar would win the title tickets would jump, these are them now. There’s reason he’s always given the title whether we like it or not #WWE #ExtremeRules

Brock Lesnar is an attraction which is one of the reasons why he makes such a good part-time Superstar. If WWE wanted to pay him for more dates he might work them, but The Beast Incarnate’s price tag is so much that WWE only pays him when they really need him.

Obviously WWE needed him at Extreme Rules and although it hasn’t been confirmed, we can only imagine he might show up at RAW tomorrow as well. Needless to say, if you already had tickets then you made the right decision.
