William Regal had a great career in the ring. He had some dark days, but he is happy with WWE in his current role in the NXT system. Still, it is great for him to sit back and watch some of his old matches to remember what he’s accomplished.

When Regal saw an old clip of himself taking Randy Savage’s legendary top rope elbow drop he had to respond. He spoke about the legends he’s faced in the ring even if he might not have won every time.

I may of been beat a lot and looked at a lot of ceilings in my 30 years of Wrestling but by some of the greatest names in our industry. Again, what a charmed life.

One brave fan called out William Regal for his usage of incorrect grammar. Because everyone has to have a member of the grammar police on their timeline.

“may of” ? I’m disappointed..that’s not the queen’s English..*may have*

This brought a response from him that this fan probably didn’t see coming or they might not have sent the dig in the first place.

I’m awfully sorry flower but I spent all my school years daydreaming of becoming a Pro Wrestler. I’m dreadfully sorry my lack of education has offended you petal.

Whether he’s using proper grammar or not, William Regal is still a pro wrestling legend. He spent his childhood thinking about living out his dream which is what he sought out to accomplish.

Therefore, William Regal has very little to apologize for at this point, especially his grammar.
