EC3 was called up from NXT, but he didn’t get much of a chance to show what he could do. After a rivalry with Dean Ambrose failed miserably, he was quickly demoted down the roster.

Vince McMahon is said to be against anything having to do with EC3 due to his failed angle as Jon Moxley explained the entire situation. It shouldn’t have been that way and EC3 was put in a terrible position trying to be a babyface over a heel Ambrose as he was on his way out of WWE.

EC3 spent all night trapped in an elevator on RAW this week and he was amazing in the role he played. However, the morning after RAW he sent out a rather ominous tweet about his future leaving some fans to wonder what he meant.

Our mistrust of the future makes it hard to give up the past.

EC3’s character seems to have changed a bit as he displays more of an apathetic aspect to his persona. However, that might not all be kayfabe.

It seems like EC3 could have quite a few reasons not to trust his future in WWE. This is especially true as he seems to still be a man that Vince McMahon doesn’t see anything in.
