Dolph Ziggler’s return to WWE was rather surprising for a lot of fans who figured that he was busy with his stand-up comedy dates at this time. Now he is set for a big match at WWE Super ShowDown in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Kevin Owens refused to go to Saudi Arabia and he had some very good reasons. Therefore, a new match needed to be figured out for Kofi Kingston’s WWE Title. This is where Dolph Ziggler came into play, but he might not be sticking around much after that.

Mike Johnson noted on PW Insider that he has heard that WWE doesn’t have any plans for the Show Off following the Super ShowDown event. Therefore, he’s not likely to win the title in Jeddah.

I am told there aren’t any current plans for Dolph beyond this show, so unless that has changed at the last second, Kofi wins with the Trouble in Paradise.

Dolph Ziggler might be leaving WWE television for a bit, but he might just get the rest of June off. Because the Wells Fargo Arena is still advertising Ziggler in a triple threat match for the WWE Title at Extreme Rules on July 14th.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
