Ronda Rousey showed up at the Royal Rumble to make a big splash upon her WWE debut. She was in the middle of filming a movie at the time in Columbia, but she wasn’t actually on set. However, you wouldn’t know that by her social media.

Rousey revealed in the new 24 special on the WWE Network that she had her cast mates and crew of Mile 22 post videos and pictures of her at certain times to make fans believe she was still in Bogota Columbia.

Of course, Rousey wasn’t in Columbia, but when word leaked that she had meeting with Triple H in LA, they had to take some measures to deceive the fans.

“Everyone assumed that I was going to be at the Royal Rumble and so I had my cast and crew mates take all kinds of pictures and videos showing that I was somewhere where I wasn’t and be like, ‘Hey, post this at 10:00 AM tomorrow.'”

The tricks might have fooled some fans for a bit, but once it was made known that the Women’s Royal Rumble match was main eventing the Royal Rumble show some people put two and two together very quickly.

That was just her debut and a year later Ronda Rousey is no longer a full-time Superstar. It makes us have to wonder what lengths WWE will go through in order to keep her return a secret when that times comes.
