AEW will have a weekly live television show on TNT in the fall. However, the day of the week hasn’t been confirmed just yet.

There are a couple of reasons why a day of the week hasn’t been locked down yet. One of those reasons might be because they don’t want to give WWE the notice so they can prepare something to compete with them, but there are other factors at work.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that AEW is currently studying the possibilities of what to do. There are about 2 million wrestling fans who are used to watching wrestling on Tuesday nights, but TNT could have to preempt the show with NBA games on Tuesdays.

There is a possibility of starting on Tuesday nights and then switching to Wednesday nights, but AEW most likely wants to stick with one night of the week and carry on without changing. Therefore, it is reported that the company is currently leaning toward a Wednesday night weekly program.

AEW has narrowed down a possible day for their television show to either Tuesday or Wednesday. We should expect an official announcement from the company soon enough.
