What Kind Of Medical Complications Ric Flair Experienced Before Surgery

Ric Flair couldn’t attend the Starrcast event due to a medical procedure he had to undergo on the week before the big event. It is shame because he was also slated to reveal the All Elite World Title, but Bret Hart was called to do the honor instead.

Flair’s procedure was said to be scheduled, but the complications were not part of the plan at all. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Flair was hospitalized for blood clots in his leg and chest prior to his scheduled heart procedure.

It is reported that these are not new issues for The Nature Boy either as he has battled blood clots for years.

The blood clots were why they had to delay the surgery a few days until they were able to clear them up. Flair suffered blood clots in his leg years on two different occasions in 2013 including the first time while going to Japan.

Ric Flair was able to make it through his recent medical issue. Thankfully, he is now at home and recovering in good spirits. Hopefully, it will be a very long time before he has to undergo any further medical issues.
