All Elite Wrestling’s debut event featured Jon Moxley’s entry into the new company. This broke the IWC, but it turns out that AEW was dominating the entire internet throughout the night.

AEW ended up capturing the #3 spot in the most Googled terms for May 25th 2019. This is a huge deal when compared to the other two events that earned the #1 and #2 spots.

Pro wrestling isn’t soccer or the NBA playoffs, but it is now a huge player in the world’s sporting stage once again. If you want to thank AEW for this then that seems like a plausible direction to extend the gratitude.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
