Brock Lesnar won the Money In The Bank briefcase on Sunday, but it turns out that might have all been done as a way to book him in a match that the company already had planned for him.

Lesnar will be competing at the WWE Super ShowDown event as we previously reported. It is for this reason that The Beast Incarnate is expected to announce this week on RAW that he will be cashing in his Money In The Bank contract at the show in Jeddah.

Although it’s always possible that WWE could swerve us in regards to his cash-in, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Lesnar was already slated to work a Universal Title match against Seth Rollins in Saudi Arabia since before he lost the title in the first place

It had been the plan since before WrestleMania for Lesnar to get his rematch with Rollins at the May Saudi Arabia show, which, of course, was then moved to 6/7.”

Since Dolph Ziggler has already been announced as Kofi Kingston’s Super ShowDown opponent, this leaves a logical role for Lesnar to play.

It could always be in the cards that Lesnar and Heyman will play games with the MITB contract causing Rollins to offer a shot at his title without needing to cash in his contract, but we will just have to wait and see how it all pans out.
