Pac vs Hangman Page was a highly-promoted match for May 25th’s Double Or Nothing event and now that match is not happening.

They filmed an angle at the WrestleGate show in Nottingham England today to make up for it. Pac was wrestling in the main event of the night in a three-way against Jody Fleisch and Robbie X when neither of his opponents showed up. So Hangman Page answered his open challenge which ended in DQ after fifteen minutes.

The word coming out of AEW according to F4W Online is that Pac won’t be at the Double Or Nothing show due to creative differences. Ever since winning the Dragon Gate Open The Dream Title, Pac has demanded that he wins and has not agreed to lose a match.

While Pac wants to protect his worth as champion, AEW wants to present a more sports-like atmosphere and they had their own direction of how they wanted to go with things.

Pac vs Page competed in a match that ended in DQ at WrestleGate. AEW plans on releasing that match online for free. Page agreed to fly to England and work the match to make up for the Double Or Nothing match not happening.

It is said that Adam Hangman Page will be working against a different opponent at Double Or Nothing now. The DQ finish was done as a way to keep things open, but Page’s Double Or Nothing opponent likely won’t be announced until before the pay-per-view on May 25th.
