NXT has a lot of talented Superstars and the future of the company very well could rest on the shoulders of the men and women who compete there. Now one Superstar will be continuing with a different name.

Stokely Hathaway was one of the more exciting signings in recent memory because he is a manager and people wanted to know what he could do. He has a ton of ability and is absolutely entertaining, but he couldn’t be called Stokely Hathaway in WWE for some reason.

The company changed Stokely’s name to “Curt Moore,” but now they’re switching it up again. The former Stokely Hathaway appeared at the NXT live event in Tampa Florida last night and he was going by the name Malcolm Bivens.

He is currently managing Jermaine Haley who previously performed as Jonah Rock on the indies throughout Australia.

Hathaway/Bivens is a favorite from the indies because of his work as a manager. It’s unclear why WWE changed the name that he’s had since breaking out on the indies, but it should also be noted that Stokely Hathaway still hasn’t changed his social media from his indie name yet.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
