Vince McMahon is getting a lot of attention today due to all of the insane stories that revolve around his personal mystique. We’ve previously reported on couple of insane stories that re-surfaced today, but one writer spoke up to share his own experience with McMahon.

There is thread on Twitter that has gone viral that consists of nothing but insane Vince McMahon experiences. Needless to say, there are a lot of them and it’s hard to believe some of the more insane ones. As it turns out, some of those are the most truthful.

Daniel Kunka, writer of 12 Rounds spoke up and revealed how he was instructed never to say “to be honest with you” when speaking to The Chairman.

I wrote 12 ROUNDS and had a conference call with Vince to talk story. I was told before the call under no uncertain terms was I to use the phrase “to be honest with you”.

Apparently a previous writer had said that and Vince went off asking if the guy was lying the entire time.

It is unclear exactly what would have happened if he accidentally said “to be honest with you” to McMahon. Odds are he would have been fired seeing Vince can very easily fire someone without batting an eye.

We’re not sure why that particular phrase would have set Vince McMahon off. Perhaps he would assume that everything else that was said to him was a lie since one phrase was specifically identified as being honest. Whatever the reason, you can just chalk it up to being another story about how interesting Vince McMahon really is.
