Injury Status Of NXT Referee Who Finished Match With Busted Leg

NXT is the developmental territory for the WWE Superstars of tomorrow, but they also house referees and other production staff who are learning the ropes with dreams of getting called up to WWE’s main roster as well.

We previously reported that NXT referee Tom Castor finished out a Tyler Breeze vs Velveteen Dream match with a graphically broken leg. However, it turns out that his leg wasn’t the issue. He’s still not okay by any means.

PW Insider confirmed that Castor actually broke his ankle during that match. It was incredibly painful and illustrates how much passion he has for the business by the fact that he was able to finish the match.

Hopefully, Tom Castor will be able to recuperate and get back to work very soon. He certainly impressed a lot of fans with his brave performance on Thursday night in Omaha.
