Randy Orton Not Happy About Potential Roman Reigns Opponent Snub

SmackDown Live star Randy Orton has taken exception to a post on social media from WWE that highlights some of Roman Reigns’ potential opponents now that he’s on the blue brand.

Over the course of the last few years, many fans have been questioning whether or not Randy Orton has been utilised to his full potential on SmackDown Live. He’s had some solid matches and good feuds, but even after his heel turn, he hasn’t quite been the featured player that many expect him to be.

His program with AJ Styles leading up to WrestleMania 35 certainly caught people’s attention, and the match itself was really strong, but he’s still searching for that all important world title shot.

As you can see by scrolling through the comments, The Viper said “What the ef” in response to not being included in the list of prominent blue brand stars. That makes a lot of sense, given that even Buddy Murphy (who has only just been called up to the main roster) has been included.

It’s fair to say that Orton is one of the best all-around workers in WWE right now, and it’d be interesting to see him get a shot at Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship – especially after the history that those two have shared together.

SmackDown Live has widely been considered to be the better show ahead of Monday Night RAW in recent months, but they need to maintain that in the wake of the most recent Superstar Shake-Up.
