Vince McMahon likes to run things the way he wants them even if it doesn’t make much sense to anyone else. WrestleMania weekend was very eventful and the news wasn’t limited to the ring either. Because backstage in WWE got a serious shake-up too.

Sean Sapp discussed this during his Post-RAW Recap show. While talking about Vince McMahon’s questionable decision making skills he revealed what RD Evans actually said to Mr. McMahon before quitting backstage at the WWE Hall Of Fame.

“We had a head writer step down [Road Dogg] and another writer [Evans] immediately walk to Gorilla, shake Vince’s hand, and say ‘I hope you learned something tonight’ and then quit his job. If that’s not an indication of the bone-headedness and stubbornness that sometimes goes on in that space then I don’t know what is.”

Vince McMahon was upset at Evans for mentioning his name during Bret Hart’s induction speech. McMahon was said to be furious and gave Evans an earful before his writer of two years simply walked up and quit on the spot.
