AEW Already Paying Certain Wrestlers

AEW hasn’t announced television show yet and their first event isn’t until next month on the 25th for Double Or Nothing in Las Vegas. However, it looks like they are already cutting checks for a few people.

Although the names were not divulged, Fightful Select reports that some AEW wrestlers have already been getting “taken care of and are receiving pay” from the new company.

It was also noted that “many of the AEW contracts officially start on May 1st,” however, some are already making money off of AEW.

Although it was not stated specifically, it stands to reason that some AEW stars are already working for the company. Therefore, those who are being paid could be appearing on Being The Elite or have done other work on the company’s behalf with interviews and other appearances.
