Bret Hart’s Attacker Gets More Time To Remain A Free Man

Zachary Madsen rushed the ring during the WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony and attacked Bret Hart. This was not wise move and he was stopped almost immediately by Travis Browne among others.

PW Insider reports that Madsen appeared in court today as scheduled. He was previously bonded out of jail so he remains free. It appears he will get to stay out of jail for a little while longer because he has another court date now.

Zachary Madsen’s court appearance today in Kings Criminal Court in Brooklyn was continued until Tuesday 5/28.  

Madsen is facing two assault charges and one count of criminal trespassing. If he is convicted, by New York state law, he could face a year of incarceration for each assault charge.
