Bret Hart was attacked during the WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony when man named Zach Madsen jumped in the ring and tackled The Hitman. Reinforcements were right on the scene to help out and this guy was taken right off to jail.

Hart has since issued response on the matter and this guy had an insane reason for committing this assault. Madsen was given a bond amount, but that won’t help his case because he could be facing at least two years in prison if he is found guilty.

Madsen is facing a count of criminal trespassing and two counts of assault. In the state of New York this third degree assault charge is a misdemeanor and carries one year for each conviction. Since Madsen is being charged for assaulting The Hitman and a WWE security guard it’s not good for him. To make matters worse this event took place on a live broadcast seen all over the world and the Barclays Center was full of people taking footage of the entire event.

We will have to wait and see, but this is just another strong reason not to try anything like this. It was pretty insane and now it’s looking like he might pay for it dearly.
